Dorothy Belle Smith EARLS

Smyrna, TN resident and Warren County native Dorothy Belle Smith Earls, age 77, was born July 15, 1932 and died April 9, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Jehovah's Witness Church in Smyrna, TN, she was the daughter of the late Allen Elijah Smith and Mina Belle Bess Smith French, Jr. She was married July 14, 1947 to Everett T. Earls, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1995. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Randolf Smith, Sr. and sister, Frances Colleen Smith Pack. She is survived by six children and their spouses, Barbara (Earls Walden) and Charles Richard Baylis of Morrison, TN, Larry Hobert Earls, Katherine Jeanette Earls Moody Martin and Everett T. Earls, Jr. all of Smyrna, TN, Richard Keith and Roxanne Lynn Wade Earls of Coraopolis, PA and Kenneth Allen Moody Earls of Franklin, KY; seven grandchildren, Lisa Roseanne Moody (Emad) AL Azraki of Seymour, TN, Jennifer Walden (John) Whittington of Lebanon, TN, Jessica Walden (Nicholas) Lahde of Smyrna, TN and Marissa Lynn Earls, Bethany Lynn Earls, Richard Harrison Earls and Emily Roxanne Earls all of Coraopolis, PA; eight great-grandchildren, Christopher Tyler Earls, William Kenneth Earls, Kaitlyn Marie Earls, Leena Belle Hester Earls, Ali Emad Everett Al Azraki, Savanah Jade Earls, Michael Allen Whittington and Heather Nichole Whittington; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen Dale and Annette Eaton Smith of Manchester, TN, Hobert Donald and Clara Barton Hillis Smith of West Palm Beach, FL and Jerry Dean and Anna Smith of Acworth, GA; brother-in-law, Lester Ralph Pack of Morrison, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. A graveside memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Center Hill Cemetery in Cannon County, TN with her brother, Hobert Don Smith officiating.
