Dorothy Jean EMERY

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dorothy Jean Emery, age 82, was born July 2, 1927 and died January 26, 2010 at Manchester Health Care Center in Manchester, TN following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Carrie Louise Wagner Womack. She was married to Paul Emery who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Paul Gary Emery; two brothers, Morris and Everett Womack and sister, Pauline Womack. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Patricia and Elmer Barr of Manchester, TN, George Everett and Audrey Emery of Lawrenceburg, TN, Charles David and Sherry Emery of St. Augustine, FL and Dorothy Jean and Dale Snow of Flowerton, IN; eighteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and sister, Irene Simpson of Hillsboro, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 in High's Chapel with Eben Gilbert officiating. Burial followed in the Rockliff Cemetery.
