Carolyn Tenpenny EMMONS

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Carolyn Tenpenny Emmons, age 68, was born April 20, 1942 and died May 25, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A housekeeper and member of the Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late James Carl and Mary Jane Jordan Tenpenny. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Betty Ann Emmons, IV of Annandale, VA and David James and Kelli Emmons of Garland, TX; daughter, Julie L. Roupe of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Brooke Alexandra, Dylan James and Dalton Jackson Emmons all of Garland, TX and John Michael Butcher and Erica Lynn Butcher; two great-grandchildren, Jonna Butcher and Nathaniel Barrett Yocum Harris; brother, James Carl Tenpenny, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN and special friends, Carolyn Womack, Tim Womack, Richard Rogers and Tyler Womack all of Morrison, TN. Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at High's.
