McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bobby Joe Foster, age 61, was born July 21, 1948 and died March 5, 2010 at his residence following a seven-month illness. A truck driver for Stone Man, United States Army veteran of Vietnam and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Herman Brown and Mary Lydia Ward Foster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, W. H. Foster and sister, Jessie Manus. He was married March 18, 2009 to Janice Cantrell Foster of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step-sons, Garrett and Joey Parsley both of McMinnville; five brothers and sister-in-law, Wendell Earl Foster of McMinnville, Jerry and Sandra Foster of McMinnville, Nolan Foster of Rock Island, TN and Lonnie Foster and Johnny Foster both of Hillsboro, TN; three sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn June Varner and Winnette Foster both of McMinnville and Darlene and Jim Rollins of Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 in High's Chapel with Tommy Womack officiating. Burial followed in Gardens of Memory with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
