JR., W.T. GILLENTINE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native W.T. Gillentine, Jr., age 91, was born April 12, 1919 and died November 12, 2010 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A farmer and United States Army veteran of WWII, he was the son of the late William Tee and Vera Brewer Gillentine, Sr. He was married to Mildred Holder Gillentine who preceded him in death April 19, 1999. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Gillentine and Garry and Helen Gillentine both of McMinnville and Buddy and Donna Gillentine of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, Greg Gillentine of Knoxville, TN, Ashley Wright of McMinnville and Amelia, Robert and Andrew Gillentine all of Greenville, SC; brother, Leon Gillentine of McMinnville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marion and J.W. Dodd both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 in High's Chapel with Jonathan Womack officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery.
