Thomas Buck GRISSOM

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Thomas "Buck" Grissom, age 80, was born October 16, 1930 and died November 9, 2010 at United Regional Medical Center in Manchester, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of Carrier, charter member of Morrison Ruritan Club and member of the Rockliff Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Thomas B. and Velma Pearl Dunlap Grissom. He was married to Bobbye Jacobs Grissom who preceded him in death April 22, 2007. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Grissom. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Janis Grissom and Joe and Wendy Grissom both of Morrison, TN; two grandchildren, Coty and Taylor Grissom both of Morrison, TN; daughter-in-law, Belinda Grissom Hash of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Nan Jacobs of Summitville, TN and three sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha Jo Brown of Summitville, TN, Reba Sue and George Lefevers of Mt. Juliet, TN and Wilma Rogers McAfee of Morrison, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Bascom Cemetery with Jerry Woodside officiating.
