Michael Shannon GUESS

McMinnville, TN resident and Tullahoma, TN native Michael Shannon Guess, age 34, was born August 30, 1976 and died October 8, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. An assistant manager with Wal-Mart, he was the son of Bill and Inez Guess of Estill Springs, TN. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, R. M. and Zona Stepp and paternal grandparents, Nathan and Mary Guess. He was married to Brandy Jones Guess of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by one son, Brandon Guess of McMinnville; daughter, Ansley Guess of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Kathy Guess and Roger and Linda Guess both of Estill Springs, TN, and J. R. and Angela Guess of Whitwell, TN; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Gary Robertson of Winchester, TN, Lisa and Ray Jones of Manchester, TN, and Wanda and Tom Glardon of Dayton, OH; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, W.D. and Sandra Jones of McMinnville and grandfather-in-law and grandmother-in-law, Winston and Nellie Jones of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in High's Chapel with Steven Lester officiating. Burial followed in Jones Cemetery in the Green Hill Community.
