Seth GUY

Doyle, TN resident and Warren County native Seth Guy, age 20, was born December 7, 1989 and died August 25, 2010 at White County Community Hospital in Sparta, TN following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A CNA at Life Care Center of Sparta, he was the son of Mary K. McCoy Guy of Doyle, TN and Wendell Guy of the Brockdale Community. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jeannetta Guy; maternal grandfather, William Lester McCoy and uncle, Walter Linn McCoy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Brooklyn Paige Herring of Sparta, TN; son, Bryson Lee Carter of Cookeville, TN; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bridget and Barney Evans of Spencer, TN and Nakisha K. Guy of Doyle, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe and Brandy Grissom of Spencer, TN; paternal grandfather, H.C. Guy of Pikeville, TN; maternal grandmother, Betty McCoy of Spencer, TN; two nieces, Kylie Evans and Augusta Grissom both of Spencer, TN and several aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in High's Chapel with Elmer Blaylock and Haskel Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High's.
