Clay Franklin HALE

October 22, 1933 — August 19, 2010

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clay Franklin Hale, age 76, was born October 22, 1933 and died August 19, 2010 at his residence. A retired employee of McMinnville Concrete, he was the son of the late James John "Cooper" Hale and Mollie May Tallent Hale Brock. He was married to Ida Virginia Merrell Hale who preceded him in death August 11, 2009. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Oren Hale and Johnny Wayne Brock and sister, Betty Sue Breeding. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Sue Thrower and Larry Stotts and Patricia Ann Lance Moore both of McMinnville; brother, Oddie Ray Brock; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lota and Rodney Aho; four grandchildren, Keith (Kimberly Tyler) Thrower, Gary (Trina Gould) Thrower, Michael Lance and Retha Lance (Clayton) Payne; eight great-grandchildren; step-mother, Elsie Hale of California; half-brother, Doug Hale of California; half-sister, Sue Hale of California and several great neighbors and friends. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Old Bybee Cemetery with Danny Hale officiating.
