Patsy Murphy HARDCASTLE

McMinnville resident and Coffee County, TN native Patsy Murphy Hardcastle, age 86, was born March 22, 1924 and died August 8, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Julia Smartt Murphy, Sr. She was married to Floyd Hardcastle, Sr. who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Tom and Don Murphy and sister, Teenie Ramsey. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Hardcastle and Betty and Tom Wood both of McMinnville; son, Floyd Hardcastle, Jr. of McMinnville; grandson, Adam Wood of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, and brother-in-law, Jewell Murphy of Viola, TN, Virginia Murphy and Elsie Harris both of Manchester, TN and Dorothy Cook and Brown Hardcastle both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2010 in High's Chapel with Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
