Tommy HUTCHINS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Tommy Hutchins, age 63, was born July 22, 1947 and died October 26, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Orville and Mattie Cleo Blankenship Hutchins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, John Drake, Wayne Drake and W. T. Dunlap and one sister, Betty Sue Hutchins. He was married May 14, 1966 to Darlene Collier Hutchins of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tiffany Hutchins of McMinnville; three step-grandchildren, Annabelle, Emily and Killian Miller all of McMinnville; four sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce Drake and Louvene Dunlap both of McMinnville, Ova Lee Drake of Eaton, IN and Brenda and Buddy McBride of Murphy, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 in High's Chapel with Ivan Craven officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery.
