Nashville, TN resident and Warren County native Frances Marie Jarrell, age 90, was born September 29, 1919 and died June 12, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A supervisor at Genesco and member of the Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late William Hill and Lassie Mae Kirby Young. She was married to Jess Willard Jarrell who preceded her in death September 8, 1995. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Ramsey and Lyle Young; half-brother, Raymond Young and sister, Maxine Terry. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Ann Woods of Hermitage, TN, Marie Fitzgerald of Nashville, TN and Barbara Pelham of Nevada, TX; six grandchildren, James Woods, Jr. of McMinnville, Michael Woods and Randy Woods both of Hermitage, TN, Drew Fitzgerald of Iraq, Adam Pelham of McAllen, TX and Angela Carpenter of Nevada, TX; six great-grandchildren, Jeremy Pelham of Edinburg, TX, Ashley and Cory Ann Lasante of Sanford, ME, Shawna Lasante of Nevada, TX, William Woods of Franklin, TN and Austin Fitzgerald of Leipers Fork, TN and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Gardens of Memory with Tommy Pelham officiating.
