Ada McReynolds JONES

Morrison, TN resident and Putnam County, TN native Ada McReynolds Jones, age 96, was born May 10, 1914 and died May 27, 2010 at the Medical Center of Manchester in Manchester, TN following a sudden illness. A retired cook at Morrison Elementary School and member of the Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Elrod McReynolds. She was married to Hervy P. Jones who preceded her in death in 1997. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Lois Gail and Ronnie Argo of the Irving College Community and Martha Sue Jones of Morrison, TN; two sons, Joey and Paul Jones both of Morrison, TN; grandson, David Jones (Pebbles Bonner) of Morrison, TN; granddaughter, Lisa Jones (Wallace Rhea) of Morrison, TN; four great-grandchildren and one step-granddaughter. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Morrison Church of Christ with Roger Comstock officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
