Frances Bain KNOWLES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Frances Bain Knowles, age 84, was born October 30, 1925 and died February 27, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Daisy Davenport Bain. She was married to Eugene Knowles who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joel Glenn Knowles; three brothers, Robert Bain, Edward Bain and W.A. Bain and two sisters, Irene James and Marie Miller. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Betty Knowles of McMinnville; daughter, Georgia Marie Jackson of Smyrna, TN; six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and sister, Gwenn McMillen of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
