Ora Lee MADEWELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ora Lee Madewell, age 77, was born April 2, 1933 and died August 25, 2010 at her residence following a brief illness. A retired employee of Genesco and Carrier and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Annie Grace Boyd Madewell. She is survived by one sister, Mary Dunlap of Townsend, TN; nephews, Steve Dunlap of Emerald Island, NC, Mark Dunlap of Hillsborough, NC and Terry Madewell and Kevin Madewell both of Portland, TN; nieces, Kim Norman of Powell, TN and Jan Womack of Goodlettsville, TN; several cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and special friend, Lola Griffith of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels or Warren County Senior Center both c/o High's.
