Mary Geneva MCGREGOR

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mary Geneva McGregor, age 92, was born January 13, 1918 and died November 29, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a lingering illness. A retired employee of Washington Manufacturing Hosiery Mill and member of the First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Castella Keathley McGregor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles R. McGregor who was killed in action during WWII in the U.S. Army and three sisters, Loreta Smith, Lometa Wilson and Nina Ledford. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Charlene McGregor of McMinnville; nephews, Charles and Ike Smith of Tucson, AZ, Charles Wilson and Lindsay McGregor both of McMinnville; nieces, Katherine West of Tampa, FL, Donna Reeder of LaGrange, TX, Sue Ledford of Chattanooga, TN and Pamela Roberson of Hermitage, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Mt. View Cemetery with John May officiating.
