Nana Lou MELTON

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Nana Lou Melton, age 79, was born June 2, 1931 and died November 28, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a lingering illness. A retired employee of Heather Farms nursery, she was the daughter of the late Joe B. and Leoma Fults Johnson. She was married to George Edward "Buck" Melton who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and Donnie Muncey and Gail Melton both of McMinnville; three sons and daughters-in-law, David Melton of McMinnville, Robert H. and Jane Melton of Smithville, TN and Lee and Darlene Melton of Sparta, TN; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Hattie Jo and Jewell Rhea of McMinnville; several half-brothers, half-sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
