Erma Mai MITCHELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Erma Mai Mitchell, age 101, was born January 18, 1909 and died September 22, 2010 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Bell Ware Stubblefield. She was married in 1933 to Herman Dalton Mitchell who preceded her in death April 28, 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Bill Stubblefield and sister, Mary Lou Mason. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Zada Mitchell of McMinnville; two grandsons and their wives, David and Janice Mitchell and Kevin and Jane Mitchell both of McMinnville; great-grandson, Michael Mitchell of McMinnville; great-granddaughter and her husband, Tara and George Green of McMinnville and two great-great-grandchildren, Sydney Green and Austin Green. A graveside service and interment was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Smyrna Cemetery with Bob Deason officiating.
