McMinnville resident and Warren County native Flaval Ray Morgan, age 83, was born September 27, 1927 and died October 12, 2010 following a three-month illness. The retired owner of Morgan Wholesale, member of the First Baptist Church, fifty-year member of Warren Masonic Lodge #125 and a Shriner, he was the son of the late Ammon "Coy" and Anna Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davis Morgan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace Clark, Arlis and Clifton Morgan and daughter-in-law, Kathy Millraney Morgan. He was married December 24, 1948 to Sue Curtis Morgan of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carolyn Morgan of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Kenneth Stoner of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Joshua (Laura) Stoner of Brentwood, TN and Kendice (Matthew) Panter of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Panter; two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jeral and Dot Morgan of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 in High's Chapel with John May officiating. Burial followed in Mt. View Cemetery.
