Nettie Angeline Walling MOYERS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Nettie Angeline Walling Moyers, age 89, was born September 6, 1920 and died April 4, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and member of the Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Nelson and Ida G. Walling. Mrs. Moyers was a member of the Lt. James Shepard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lonnie Walling Easton. She was married to Douglas Moyers of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ruth and Jess Cox of New Tazewell, TN; nieces, Carolyn Moyers of Tazewell, TN and Ann Cox McCoy of Kingsport, TN and nephew, Dan Cox of Knoxville, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Mt. View Cemetery with Betty Lively officiating.
