Cebert MYERS

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Cebert Myers, age 81, was born April 29, 1929 and died November 2, 2010 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A timber worker and member of the Church of God, he was the son of the late Henry and Clara Northcutt Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Buford A. Myers and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William L. and Beverly Myers and Wayne and Anita Myers both of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Andy Bassham of Manchester, TN; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sugarlou and Hootie Smith of McMinnville; brother, Chester Myers of the Centertown Community and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 in High's Chapel with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial followed in the Fults Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
