Clifton Duck OSMENT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clifton "Duck" Osment, age 88, was born March 31, 1922 and died November 7, 2010 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Magnetek, he was the son of the late John Ernest and Jennie Adeline Barrett Osment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Gracie Lee Neal and brother, Milton "Bud" Osment. He was married December 24, 1966 to Pauline "Polly" Osment of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, J.E. Osment of Alabama and Garry L. Grant (Lois) of Livingston, TN; two daughters, Dorothy "Susie" Miller of Indiana and Brenda K. Reid (Pat) of Dayton, TN; sister, Macon Rains of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sonny and Sarah Osment, Nelson and Mary Osment and Wayne and Mildred Osment all of McMinnville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Gardens of Memory with Chris Perry officiating.
