Terry Wayne PENNINGTON

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Terry Wayne Pennington, age 63, was born November 1, 1946 and died October 23, 2010 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A retired nurseryman and United States Army veteran of Vietnam, he attended Bascom United Methodist Church and was the son of Ruby Jones Pennington of McMinnville and the late Gaston Pennington. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark Wayne Pennington and two sisters, Judy Goodwin and Sharon Wallace. He was married to Donna Floyd Pennington of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Pennington of McMinnville; son, Michael Pennington of McMinnville; two grandsons, Jaxson Levi Pennington and Ivan Daniel Pennington both of McMinnville; two sisters, Nancy Luna of McMinnville and Karen Pennington of Florida; brother, Ronnie Pennington of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in High's Chapel with Bruce Pennington and Pastor James Bell officiating. Burial followed in the Trousdale Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5063 and American Legion Post 173. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Food Bank c/o High's.
