Ora Alice POTTER

McMinnville resident and Clay County native Ora Alice Potter, age 88, was born June 11, 1922 and died of old age July 15, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Annie Lou Mathis Harvey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Odell and Elmo Harvey and two sisters, Mary Muncey and Lenora Potter. She is survived by two sons, Billy Potter of McMinnville and Jerry Potter of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, Katrina, Carly, Jeremy, Amanda, Kimberly and Tina and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Kirby officiating. Burial followed in the New Union Cemetery on Hwy. 30.
