Clara Edith P'POOL

Smyrna, TN resident and Warren County native Clara Edith P'Pool, age 90, was born June 5, 1919 and died January 2, 2010 at Peachtree Center Nursing and Rehab in Smyrna, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James and Ella Farless Powell. She was married to James O. P'Pool who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Haston and Quim Powell and great-grandson, Mason James P'Pool. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Bobby and Lois Green of McMinnville, Brenda and C.Y. Thurman and Kay Risner both of Nashville, TN and David P'Pool of East Point, FL; six grandchildren and their spouses, Terry and Tammy Green, Mike Green, Stacy Keeton, Justin and Laura Risner, Jennifer and Donnie Cranford and Daniel and Candace P'Pool; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Barlow of Murfreesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2009 at Smyrna Cemetery with Steve Jones officiating.
