Fred Russell PRATER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Fred Russell Prater, age 77, was born March 6, 1933 and died July 1, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired farmer, he was the son of the late Quince Prater and Pearl Youngblood Prater Parrish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Houston "Hootie" Prater. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Richard Lee and Betty Jean Prater of Homestead, FL; sister, Shirley Barnes of Merinna, FL; sister-in-law, Gearl Dean Prater of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Ivy Bluff Cemetery with Buddy Pope officiating.
