Wilba Bryant ROBERTS

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Wilba Bryant Roberts, age 70, was born April 21, 1940 and died May 16, 2010 at her residence following a brief illness. A retired employee of Carrier Corporation and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Delma Cole Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Billy Bryant and son-in-law, Jerry Jones. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Kelley of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Elliott Kelley and Erica Jones both of McMinnville; one great-granddaughter, Jera Jones of McMinnville; four sisters and brother-in-law, Polly and Robert Delon of Spencer, TN, Sandra Simmons and Ruby Roberts both of Sparta, TN and Betty Yates of McMinnville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Walker and Margaret Bryant of McMinnville, Paul and Ruthan Bryant of McMinnville, Truman and Susie Bryant of Bone Cave, TN and Lynn and Beverly Bryant of Bone Cave, TN; several nieces and nephews; special friends and caretaker, Marsha Jackson and Nancy Bryant and very special friend, Marvin Lynn. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial followed in Mt. View Cemetery.
