David Edwin RUBLEY

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native David Edwin Rubley, age 61, was born February 17, 1949 and died February 27, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. A nurseryman and member of the McMinnville First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lena P. Thompson Rubley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and John Rubley. He was married to Judy Maxwell Rubley of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Robert Parrish of Murfreesboro, TN; two sons and daughter-in-law, Seth and Angela Rubley and Aaron Rubley both of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Troy Michael Rubley of Murfreesboro, TN; two step-granddaughters, Taylor and Valerie Parrish of Murfreesboro, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Gary Panter of McMinnville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Marilyn Rubley of Indiana, Ernest Cline and Dean Rubley, Jack and Mary Rubley and James Earl and Gina Rubley all of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Pat Rubley of Sterling Heights, MI; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Leonard and Patricia Snodgrass of McMinnville and mother-in -law, Lillian Maxwell of Viola, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church with Bro. John May and Jerry Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
