Kenneth Marvin SCOTT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Kenneth Marvin Scott, age 56, was born March 6, 1954 and died December 19, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A retired mechanic with Stoneman, he was the son of the late Cooper Eugene and Minnie Bell Myers Scott and was of Apostolic faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Scott, Jr. He was married June 9, 1979 to Peggy Scott of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children and their spouses, Kenny and Jeanette Scott of McMinnville and Kristy and Matt Howard of Monteagle, TN; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Scott, Sydney Scott and Treven Johnson; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy C. and Faye Scott and Billy Scott both of McMinnville; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty L. Pedigo, Dorothy McGee, Virginia Pinegar, Helen Martin and Emma Jean and Art Bickford all of McMinnville and Eloise and Joe Taylor of Smithville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in High's Chapel with Sam Kinzer officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
