Doris Launa SIMPSON

Nashville, TN resident and Warren County native Doris Launa Simpson, age 77, was born March 26, 1933 and died August 9, 2010 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Glenwood Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Fulton and Emma Louella Bolt McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Dewey and Johnny McBride and sister, Gladys Keel. She is survived by one son, Johnny Simpson of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Nan Ruth Cantrell of McMinnville and Lola Jane Stanton of Murfreesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
