Carrie B. Qualls SMARTT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Carrie B. Qualls Smartt, age 90, was born March 5, 1920 and died September 11, 2010 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Hollis and Pearly May Fults Qualls. She was married to James Earl Smartt who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Doug Grissom of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, James Randell and Monica Smartt of Trenton, MI; brother, James L. Qualls of Morrison, TN; sister, Inez Qualls of McMinnville; grandsons and their wives, Erik and Aimee Smartt of Warrenville, SC and Aaron and Erica Benkarski of McMinnville; granddaughter, Ashley Benkarski of Murfreesboro, TN and three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter and Seren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in High's Chapel with George Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
