Joyce Campbell SMARTT

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Joyce Campbell Smartt, age 71, was born September 7, 1938 and died February 9, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Bessie Campbell. She was married to Jimmy Price Smartt who preceded her in death April 4, 2001. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Felton and Billy Campbell and three sisters, Alvada Fults, Gladys Sartin and Estalee Sartin. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Patricia Smartt and Anthony and Leah Smartt both of McMinnville and Kenny and Tina Smartt and Jeff and Gina Smartt both of Altamont, TN and six grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 in High's Chapel with Charlie Barrett officiating. Burial followed in the Mormon Cemetery @ Northcutt Cove.
