Bobby Lee SPARKMAN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bobby Lee Sparkman, age 73, was born February 11, 1937 and died November 15, 2010 at his residence following an eleven month illness. A retired employee of Powermatic, Tennessee Army National Guard veteran and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Charlie Ryan and Gladys Hazel Montandon Sparkman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Duane and Charles Sparkman; two sisters, Judith Carruth and Vennita Koenig and brother-in-law, Allen Koenig. He was married June 18, 1965 to Sandra Bouldin Sparkman of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Lee and Stephanie Sparkman, Jr. of Viola, TN; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Sparkman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Margaret Sparkman of Elkhart, IN and Wade and Violet Sparkman of McMinnville; brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Richard Carruth of Seagoville, TX, Dennis and Ana Bouldin of Fredericksburg, VA, Kerry and Sharon McPeak of Rock Island, TN and Jean Claude and Judy Petit, David and Barbara Bouldin and Kenneth Bouldin all of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 in High's Chapel with Steve Short officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
