Doyle Buddy TODD

McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Doyle "Buddy" Todd, age 82, was born July 30, 1928 and died October 7, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired employee of Cooper Manufacturing Company, he was the son of the late James D. and Lou Adams Todd. He was married to Willie Walker Todd who preceded him in death in 1996. He is survived by two brothers and sister-in-law, Julius and Louise Todd of McMinnville and Waldon Todd of Rock Island, TN; three sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Todd of Woodbury, TN, Josephine Harper of Hillsboro, TN and Eva and Jerry Simons of the Shady Grove Community; five nephews and their wives, Richard and Linda Harper of Morrison, TN, Jason and April Todd, Jamie and Erica Todd and Greg Todd all of McMinnville and James and Melissa Todd of Alabama; four nieces and their husbands, Rachel and Doug Carroll of Hillsboro, TN, Sharon Tanner of the Centertown Community, April and Joey Brymer of McMinnville and Marlene Todd of Smithville, TN; two step-daughters, Jennie McCormick and Janie Jones both of McMinnville; step-son, James Young of McMinnville and uncle, Oren Adams of Rock Island, TN. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at High's.
