Ruby Irene VARNER

Manchester, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Ruby Irene Varner, age 61, was born March 29, 1948 and died March 5, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John and Hassie Perry King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J. C. King. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Ricky Lee and Barbara Stevens of Morrison, TN, Clinton Leon and Carolyn Stevens of Beechgrove, TN, Clara Mae and James Myers of Hillsboro, TN and Bud William and Lois Stevens of Beechgrove, TN; twelve grandchildren, Peggy, Jeremy and Patrick Stevens, Vicki and Becky Mearse, Elizabeth Ann, Melissa Diane and Calvin Dillard, Tracy, April, Dakota and Marie; four brothers, Austin, Cecil, John and Tommy King; three sisters, Ruth Roberts, Judy and Carolyn Tiggs; special friends, Ruth Rollins and Mack Mayton both of Manchester, TN and her dog, Lucy. Graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN with Albert Nunley officiating.
