Vernon Dale WARD

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Vernon Dale Ward, age 48, was born July 25, 1961 and died June 20, 2010 at his residence following a brief illness. A framer and masonry worker and member of the Pioneer Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Margil and Ruth Neal Ward. He was married February 15, 1992 to Nikki Ward of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ward of Smithville, TN and Chandra Ward of McMinnville; son, Zachary Ward of McMinnville; grandchild, Taylor Reeder of Smithville, TN; thirteen siblings, Margle Ward, Ruth Ann Rogers, Vickie Eldridge, George "Tody" Argo, Margie Ward, JoAnn Turner and special brother, Jay Holmes all of McMinnville, James Michael Ward of Morrison, TN, Sandra Martin of Kentucky, Joyce Tucker of Crossville, TN, Jane Wright of Sparta, TN, Kay Beecher of Indiana and Jewell Morris of Florida; brother-in-law, Eric White of McMinnville and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 in High's Chapel with Brian Koegler officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery.
