Eva Jean WARE

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Eva Jean Ware, age 87, was born May 7, 1922 and died January 29, 2010 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Hassie Curtis Christian. She was married to John Wayne Ware who preceded her in death March 15, 1985. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Brady, Edna Spencer and Louvisa Perry and two brothers, Haskell and Laster Christian. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Betty and Willard Butcher of McMinnville and Judy McGlothen of Rock Island, TN; two sons and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Wilma Ware of Rock Island, TN and Johnny Ware of McMinnville; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and special niece Lucille Newby of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2010 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward and Jonathan Stubblefield officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
