Joyce Ann WHITEAKER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joyce Ann Whiteaker, age 73, was born January 24, 1937 and died March 24, 2010 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A nursery owner and member of Temple Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Hattie Ogle Wilcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Paul and Rick Wilcher. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Cindi Whiteaker of McMinnville; two daughters, Sandra Judkins and husband Steve and Cheryl Whiteaker and Bill Morgan both of McMinnville; brother, Darryl Wilcher of Virginia; three sisters, Wanda Ritchey and Betty Faulk both of Florida and Debbie Center of North Carolina; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 in High's Chapel with Jim Tollison officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
