McMinnville resident and Warren County native Freeda Mae Womack, age 89, was born August 12, 1920 and died May 1, 2010 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired shipping clerk with Michigan Bulb and member of the Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Jim Buck and Susie Rogers Bouldin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth Stubblefield, Olline Bouldin, Gladys Argo and Zada Belle Sain and one brother, James Laverne Bouldin. She was married December 24, 1948 to William Fuston Womack of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Nancy Womack of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Marty Campbell of McMinnville; granddaughter, Traci Pigott and husband James of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Tully Franks and wife Lucy of Murfreesboro, TN; great-granddaughter, Alexis Pigott of Murfreesboro, TN; great-grandson, Daelin Franks of Murfreesboro, TN; two step-granddaughters, Kim Muncey and husband Jerry and Emily Freeman and husband Mike both of McMinnville; step-grandson, Johnny Taylor of McMinnville; two step-great-grandsons, Jeremy Muncey and Brandon Muncey both of McMinnville; step-great-granddaughter, Nancy Ruth Freeman of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Melba Bouldin of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Joe Gray officiating. Burial followed in the Armstrong Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels c/o High's.
