McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jewell Clayburn "Rusty" Woodlee, age 84, was born May 12, 1926 and died December 8, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a prolonged illness. A retired employee of Oster Corporation and International Harvester and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Grover and Sara Jane Jennings Woodlee. He was married to Thelma Pendergraph Woodlee who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Colby Lee King; brother, Robert "Doc" Woodlee and sister Louise Luttell. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Sonjia and Tom Winfree of McMinnville and Lecredia Woodlee Rutledge of Rock Island, TN; two sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Beverly Woodlee and Lynn Woodlee both of McMinnville; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and brother, Jesse Woodlee of Muncie, IN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 in High's Chapel with Donald Owens and Nick Pelham officiating. Burial followed in the New Union Cemetery on Hwy. 30.
