Tommye Gaye Argo ADAMS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Tommye Gaye Argo Adams, age 75, was born June 20, 1935 and died January 10, 2011 at her residence following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Jennie Braxton Argo. She was married July 8, 1961 to Joe Adams of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Ronnie Rogers of McMinnville and Carol and Steve Trent of Johnson City, TN; three grandsons, C.J. Rogers of McMinnville and Andrew and John Trent both of Johnson City, TN; sister, Jean Scott of McMinnville and niece, Anne Smith and nephew, Brad Scott both of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Central Church of Christ with Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.
