Mildred Green ADCOCK

Troy, AL resident and Warren County native Mildred Green Adcock, age 97, was born September 16, 1913 and died February 19, 2011 at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, AL following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late S.M. and Dicy Louise Golden Green. She was married to Paul Joseph Adcock who preceded her in death October 13, 1988. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony G. and Jo Adcock of Troy, AL; grandson, Matthew Joseph Adcock of Montgomery, AL; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Adcock and Carter Adcock; sister-in-law, Alma Greene of McMinnville and daughter-in-law, Arnelle Adcock of Montgomery, AL. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in High's Chapel with Nestor Stewart and Anthony Adcock officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
