Milton W. BARNES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Milton W. Barnes, age 67, was born September 7, 1943 and died March 20, 2011 at White County Community Hospital in Sparta, TN following an extended illness. He was the son of the late Livey Milton and Annie Lee Jones Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, L.V. Barnes, Raymond Barnes and Billy Charles Barnes. He is survived by three sisters, Betty Sue Barnes, Virgie Kay Barnes and Edith Ann Barnes all of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, David and Sue Barnes of McMinnville; two uncles, Leon Barnes and Robert Jones and wife Linda both of McMinnville; aunt, Joyce Jones and husband John of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Rachel Barnes; nieces and nephews, Tammy Sliger, Nora Ann McBride, Ricky Christian and Billy and Donna Barnes and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Smyrna Cemetery with Billy Reed officiating.
