Mack Mackie BONNER

August 12, 1923 — February 25, 2011

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Mack "Mackie" Bonner, age 87, was born August 12, 1923 and died February 25, 2011 at the Medical Center of Manchester following an extended illness. A retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Mack Redden and Flora Bell Bonner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steve Bonner; grandson, Joshua Davenport; brothers, Archie, Redden and Harry Lee Bonner and four sisters, Mary Looney, Irene Melton, Flora Harvey and Pauline Bonner. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lee Bonner of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Davenport of McMinnville; granddaughter, Kanda Davenport; four step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 in High's Chapel with Bob Bonner officiating. Burial followed in the Stroud Cemetery.
