Huston Perry BOYD

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Huston Perry Boyd, age 85, was born October 8, 1926 and died December 20, 2011 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired supervisor with Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Columbus, OH and member of the Presbyterian Church, he was the son of the late Earnest Huston and Lora Stewart Boyd. He was married to Florence Ramsey Boyd of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers-in-law, Floyd "Joe" Gambrell of McMinnville and Reeder B. Ramsey, Jr. of Muncie, IN; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ramsey of McMinnville, Kathleen R. Smith of Rock Face, GA and Lucy Ramsey of Nashville, TN; nephews, Boyd Ramsey of McMinnville and Kelly Thaxton of Quebeck, TN and several other nieces and nephews out-of-town. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Bascom Cemetery with Byron Chambers officaiting.
