McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilma Gladys Bratcher, age 81, was born August 3, 1930 and died November 9, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. The owner of Bratcher's Nursery and member of Charles Creek The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Frankie Smartt Rhea. She was married to Charles Henry Edward Bratcher who preceded her in death March 13, 2009. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Sinks, Jean Butcher and Ruth Owen and one brother, Earl Rhea. She is survived by two sons, Tony Lee Bratcher and Gary Michael Bratcher both of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Denise and Duane Pritchett of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Laura Barnes and husband Jonathan, Evan Pritchett and Samantha Pritchett all of McMinnville; two step-grandchildren, Eric Self and wife Daffy and Kerry Self and wife Cissie both of McMinnville; four step-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jessie and Tyler Self and Ethan Price; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Zelma Scott, Edith Harris, Dean and Bob Muise, Carolyn and Charlie Delong and Margie and Garland Lorance all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles and Cecil Vanwinkle officiating. Burial followed in the Brick House Cemetery.
