Barbara Ann DAMON

McMinnville resident and Syracuse, NY native Barbara Ann Damon, age 58, was born June 6, 1953 and died August 10, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following a two-year illness. A bookkeeper with Damon Trucking and member of the Northside Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ethel Rogers Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ronald Damon. She was married October 28, 1972 to Steve Allen Damon of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Joe and Leslie Damon and Jake Damon both of McMinnville; daughter, Beth Damon of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Calyn, Kyren, Huck and Madison Damon; two brothers and sister-in-law, Steven and Frances Wright of Ashland City, TN and David Wright; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Jim Reindhart of Phoenix, NY and mother-in-law, Mary Damon of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 in High's Chapel with Jim Tollison officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
