Nellie M. DAVENPORT

Homestead, FL resident and Key West, FL native Nellie M. Davenport, age 81, was born April 15, 1929 and died April 13, 2011 at Palace Gardens in Homestead following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Axel and Inez Pent Peterson. She was married to Walter Chadwick Davenport who preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Tony and Gloria Davenport of Jupiter, FL, Debbie and David Moses of Charlotte, NC and Donna and Jorge Pacho of Key Largo, FL; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Oak Grove Cemetery @ Barren Fork with Carl Wayne Davenport officiating.
