JR., Clifford Harris DAVIS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clifford Harris Davis, JR., age 68, was born April 21, 1943 and died April 27, 2011 at Alive Hospice @ St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of A.O. Smith and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Clifford H. Davis, Sr. and Betty Bell Davis Witty. He was married October 16, 1965 to Gail Hixson Davis of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters and son-in-law, Betty Davis, Julie Davis and Susan Davis all of McMinnville and Angela and Kevin Deason of Viola, TN; son, Joshua Watts of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Evon Davis, Charles and Linda Davis and James and Joyce Davis all of McMinnville and several nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
