Sarah Ann Anderson DEROSSETT

Greenwood, SC resident and Floyd County, KY native Sarah Ann Anderson Derossett, age 72, was born October 23, 1938 and died May 29, 2011 in Greenwood following a lengthy illness. A retired real estate agent and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Baisden Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry A. DeRossett, Jr.; one brother and three sisters. She was married January 12, 1957 to Jerry A. DeRossett, Sr. of Greenwood, SC. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Ronald L. DeRossett of Greenwood, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Harry Porter of Greenwood, SC and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs with George Christian officiating.
